Red Moon
Very early this morning I arose to view a lunar eclipse. The sky was partially cloudy, but luckily it cleared for a while to get a good view.

ABC Wednesdays - L for Lighthouse
This is the Marino Rocks Lighthouse located about a kilometre inland in the Marino Conservation Park, just south of Brighton. The lighthouse was built in 1962 and can be seen in the Gulf from a distance of up to 42 kilometres.
Click here to see a view I posted last week of Adelaide's coastline at night from the Park.
The ABC Wednesday meme was created by Denise Nesbitt. To find out more about ABC Wednesdays and see other participants' contributions click here

Light paints pretty pictures doesn't it. This photo was taken only 40 minutes later than the one I posted yesterday.

North Terrace at night
When I went to the city to photograph the Northern Lights display, it opened my eyes to the beauty of Adelaide at night. The buildings on the southern side of North Terrace are commercial in nature, while opposite them is the cultural hub; the museum, art gallery and library. Whilst some of the buildings have been renovated the historic facades have generally been retained.
