On Thursdays I am attending a French class in the south eastern corner of the City. At the class we were discussing the types of houses that people live in in France. Mostly in cities people live in multi storey apartments.
Typically in Adelaide most people live in single houses, but there is an emerging trend in the City towards apartment blocks. I took this photo near where I attend the class.

Great photos. Congratulations. Greetings.
As house prices rise constantly, the trend for apartment living is increasing in Australian cities which is a shame but needs must. In a few years, they'll all look old and shabby.
Personally, I prefer living in a flat. Especially since we are renting and I don't want to spend a lot of time taking care of gardens. We were a bit surprised how few flats were avaliable in Adelaide. Fortunately we found a place that meets our needs.
It is the same here in Auckland, gone are the quarter acre houses.
Those French houses, do they have bidets>
Look at those Flowers!! Nice shot Gordon! Happy weekend!!

Maya; we have always lived in a house except for sometimes on vacation. I am no gardener, so I am considering an apartment sometime in the future. Alas we would need to get rid of a lot of accumulated clutter!
Anne - the apartment we stayed in in Paris did not have a bidet, but we did come across some in other the places we stayed in; takes a bit of getting used to.
