We caught a train to Gawler (about 40 kms north of Adelaide), then rode to Lyndoch in the Barossa Valley along mainly unsealed roads and returned to Gawler via a minor sealed road; in all about 36kms.

I assure you; they weren't talking much riding UP the hills!
That's a good way to spend time with friends.
Definitely a great way to spend time with friends! And a healthy one at that! Looks like fun to me and a terrific shot for the Q Day! Enjoy your evening! Thanks as always for your visit/comment! Always appreciated!

No wonder they are looking so cheerful, the joy of going downhill.

A perfect way to spend a Sunday. Love the reward of the Quick descent after the uphill ride.
I've been to Gawler but not by bike, cannot ride, so find it quicker by car!
It does seems like a very joyful ride. I have not been on the bike for a while, should get back on someday.
