Temptation - The Dolphin Boat

Click on the photo to enlarge
This catamaran, Temptation, offers cruises along the foreshore from Glenelg; the main objective being to give passengers a chance to look at or even swim with dolphins. I took this photo several weeks ago between Glenelg and Brighton.

When I sail in this area I also see dolphins from time to time. Click here to see a photo of a dolphin swimming alongside my boat.

You are so lucky to sail in so beautiful places! We went to Australia in 2004 (rent a camper van from Sydney to Cairn) and we had the opportunity to observe several Humpbacks in Whitsunday Islands area. It was like a dream.

How wonderful to be able to sail like this. I've never sailed. I imagine it would be a wonderful experience. That dolphin is wonderful!

You must come to Saint Malo for some real sailing. All that warm weather and clear water where you are is for wusses...:-)

Wow, beautiful photos. Lucky you to be able to snap a nice photo of the dolphin up so close.

Clarice - I am not a wuss but often the people I take out are; hence the calm sea. I would love to sail at Saint Malo!

Alice & Pat - that dolphin photo was OK but I hope to get better ones; I will post when I do. They actually look clearer than that. Sometimes the camera does lie!

Why not sail TO Saint Malo? I go running most mornings and if the sea is too choppy I can't look or I get sea sick....no lie. So I have a secret admiration for people who can and do. Sailor girl says she can cure me :-)

Alice - a wuss is a person who is weak or timid; unlike the "pirates" referred to in Clarice's blog.

Clarice - it was a dream of mine to sail around the world, but these days it is risky as there is a threat of real pirates!
I'm with sailor girl - sea sickness can be cured; its all in the mind; one of the reasons I take beginners out on calm days - break them in gently. :-)
