Jacarandas

Jacarandas are in bloom within the City and around the suburbs; a lovely time of year - mostly fine days and lots of colour. This is a shot looking west along Wakefield Street from the Fire Station.

I keep thinking I'll 'do' something with Jacarandas for ABC WED. But J's a long way off! Maybe I'll cheat and put them under 'V' as 'Violet-coloured-trees'!

Some advice, please. How do I put writing on photographs.... not from the camera, but artistically, f you know what I mean. I admire the effects some people get.

Jacarandas - so that's what they are - saw some in a park at Southport something like 18 months ago and I wondered what they were - now I know - cheers Gordon.
