Beijing 2008 in Adelaide

What a pity is is so cold here at present. The City Council has erected a large screen at Elder Park to show the Olympics. I went to have a look today and there were only a handful of people taking advantage of the facility.

We have two free to air channels telecasting the Olympics for most of the day and the evening. Most people can view the event in much more pleasant conditions; at home in a heated room!

Yes we've got the Olympics most of the day on BBC1 TV - I did not think I would watch them but I have .. do not usually like sport but this time have found them quite interesting.

If it was a nice day I think that would be a fun place to watch with lots of friends.

It happens evey time. I say I am not interested and slowly get sucked in.
It's such a shame the creen is not getting it's full use. Our summer here and your winter, really are no different this year.

The man looked so lonely. But cant blame, no one want to out there in the winter. I love watching the table tennis, gymnastics and diving and swimming.

What a great idea! I wish the people here had thought of something like that...but then...the weather hasn't really been cooperative here, either.
