Across the river from yesterday's photo is a major residential development. I don't particularly like the style; but they may look OK when finished. From memory, I think there used to be a sugar refinery on the site.

Great shot of the reflection.
Yes in the UK the old dock areas are being developed into Leisure Centres - there is a big centre in the old port area of Manchester - theatres, museums, shops and houses.
This is the way all the old ports are going ..
