ABC Wednesdays - J for Jacaranda

Jacarandas in bloom are very attractive indeed; I took this photo last November in a suburb near mine. The Jacaranda is native to sub-tropical areas in South America; but as you can see it flourishes here.

Jacarandas are so beautiful and almost look like purple snow as the petals fall. Perfect J word.

Beautiful! This looks like Pretoria, South Africa which is also known as Jacaranda City.

This is so nice to see this time of year -- I've taken so many photos here last May/June. They beautify the street so much.
