Brewery Riverbank Display (2)

Another view of the riverbank display. The Christmas display remains until early January, but occasionally other displays are set up to celebrate special events in the city. The gardens on the river bank were first established in 1958 by workers at the Southwark Brewery, and have been progressively developed and maintained since then. The displays are sponsored by various private companies.

I hope the gardeners and set-up workers get a free brew after their hard work.

Annie, I must check that out. If they do, I might apply for a job!

Tried to email you but there's something wrong with the link I think. Gordon, I'm sharing your bloglink and image at my site http://muchaboutmelbourne.blogspot.com - I'm writing about Christmas displays.
