These two people are combing the beach with their metal detectors. As you can see by the tracks in the sand, the Beach Cleaner has passed over this area. While I was watching they uncovered a few items; so I guess their efforts were rewarded.

If I hadn't known any better, at first glance I would have thought it was snow on the ground!
