The last race for Adelaide's 10th Tour Down Under was a 16 lap race around a 5.5 km street circuit. Andre Greipel (Team High Road) claimed victory in the race and the Tour in yet another very close finish.It is estimated over half a million people attended the Tour Down Under events this year. It is great for South Australia; for tourism and cycling.
We rode 10 kms into the city to watch the final and had a picnic lunch trackside with a group of our cycling friends. It was great to see so many others, including young families, doing the same.
